Installation instructions



Printer driver installation		We suppose that you have already installed the Windows printer drivers for your printer from the printer CD (or disk) that you received together with your printer. Additional information on the installation of printers can be found in your Windows manuals or in the online help section. You can also find up-to-date printer drivers at any time in the internet at:
		www.zebra.com for ELTRON / ZEBRA printer or www.intermec.com for INTERMEC printer www.tscprinters.com for TSC printer.
Installation of software eXtra4 Version 2.x		If you load the software down from the internet, you will find the file > eXtra4_2_SETUP.EXE < on your PC. This is the installation programme that you should start with a double click. Follow the instructions of the installation programme now. If you have already received the code for non-expiring usage, please enter it in the specified place under "registration" on the start screen in order to activate the software. Please keep this code safe as it will again be required for reinstallation or software updates.
Retroactive activation		If you wish to merely test the programme, the software runs for a limited period of 60 days for the time being. Nevertheless, you have access to the full functional range of the programme during this test period. After acquisition of a usage licence we will send you a code that - after being entered into the start screen in the specified place under “registration” – will activate the software. Please keep this code safe as it will again be required for reinstallation or software updates. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the purchase of a user licence includes the installation of our software on as many PCs in your company as you like!
Programme call		A double click on the symbol on your desktop is all you need to do to start the programme. Of course, you can also call the programme from the START menu.
Help file		Additional information on the functioning of the programme and the printer you will find in the corresponding help file which you can call either via the START menu or via the F1-key within the programme.
